St. Vincent de Paul Community Store was opened in October 1994, and is managed and operated by a small number of professional staff, along with the time and commitment of over 52 volunteers. The St. Vincent store offers clean, quality, second-hand items to consumers at a reasonable cost.
Today, the avenues of outreach are numerous and we feel that we are a valuable resource in our community by not only giving aid to those in need, but also in helping with the recycling process of various donated items that would be left on the curb for the village to handle. Often times when property comes off the tax role, we tend to overlook how organizations reach out to benefit a community.
In 2015, $339,918 went back into the community, and 7,012 people took advantage of our various services and outreach programs. St. Vincent offers a broad range of services to the elderly, disabled, families and individuals if eligible in emergency situations. See our about page for information on how we help, and our programs page for more information about specific programs.
